Poetry in an Age of Missiles

Hello! My name is Michael Clawson and I’m a film lover based in Seattle, WA. I’ve enjoyed movies my whole life, but my cinephilia took off in my early twenties, when I began reading Film Comment and Manohla Dargis in the NYT – two discoveries that expanded my cinematic horizons and significantly deepened my passion for the form. Since then, I’ve watched mainstream, arthouse, classic, and experimental film with a voracious appetite. Poetry in An Age of Missiles is where I share some of my own writing about movies.
